Barb has made a loan to Nazila Shimshekova of Azerbaijan.
She is married and has three children. The family lives in the small refugee village of Varkhankend which situated in the Saatli region. She owns dairy cows and has been selling milk and yogurt to the local people for more than twenty years. Nazila also works as a school teacher in the local school, but her salary is very low and is not enough to feed her family. To improve their living conditions, she is requesting a loan to purchase two dairy cows and expand her business.
Ms. Shimshekova is currently repaying the loan.
