Matt makes a new loan

Matt made a new loan to Khalil of Lebanon.

Khalil is a 40 year old man who lives in Tyre, in Southern Lebanon, with his wife and their four children. Khalil has owned a fruit and vegetable shop since 2003. He sells all kinds of fruits and vegetables, depending on the season. Khalil has requested a loan of $1000 US dollars from Al Majmoua to purchase merchandise for his shop. Khalil has been a microcredit client for four years and has always paid on time.

His previous loans helped him to diversify his merchandise and improve his financial situation. Khalil is special in his work because he has competitive prices and knows how to treat his clients. His clients are his friends and neighbors. Khalil decided to start his business because he needed to improve his financial situation. In the future, he plans to expand his business.
